Simple Plan has gone back on tour yet again! The “Bigger Than You Think Tour! - The Sequel” has the band going back around the United States again with returning performances from Bowling for Soup and 3oh!3. While it was another warm day for a California summer it didn’t seem to slow anyone down from showing up to a mid week (and apparently sold out?!) show.

Simple Plan has continued to have fans show up for their ongoing tour and kept their fan base happy for over 25 years. They played classic songs such as I’d Do Anything, Shut Up, Perfect, Welcome to My Life, and of course I’m Just a Kid. While many of their fans are no longer kids, these long time fans seem to be passing on their musical knowledge to their own children and bringing them to enjoy the music as well.  Of course they have a full setlist of amazing songs but if you’ve been to a Simple Plan show you know the drill. They always play the Scooby-Doo theme song. And in Simple Plan tradition, they invite those dressed as Scooby-Doo to join them on stage for What’s New Scooby-Doo, the theme song from the cherished TV show. 

It is never a dull moment at their show with plenty of confetti and stickers getting thrown in the air within the first few songs. The smoke that flows through the air to make the riffs and lyrics hit even harder. And of course some casual crowd surfing not only from those in the crowd but from the performers themself. 

In addition to all of the singing and jumping around that happened at the show. With this performance being in San Jose, California home to the Sharks Hockey team. The band also brought out Sharkie the official mascot of the team to join them on stage - which of course made the crowd scream even louder (and honestly who doesn’t love Sharkie). The band will continue their tour throughout the remainder of 2026 hitting various cities all across the globe. While I’ve seen them before - I doubt this will be the last time seeing them as they never fail to disappoint and continue to make every show memorable.
