Sticky Fingers

Sticky Fingers recently performed in San Francisco on a Monday night at The Masonic, but you wouldn’t have been able to tell. With the crowd packed wall to wall, it felt like no one had work the next day. The audience showed up and showed out with their energy and excitement for the band.

Sticky Fingers are an Australian band known for blending genres. They’ve built a strong global following over the years, especially with tracks like “Cyclone” and “Bootleg Rascal”. The band itself had a quirky, slightly off beat charm but that only added to the experience. Beneath that there was a clear sense of appreciation. They showed love not just to the crowd but to their crew as well. Their stage presence was effortless balancing both a laid back vibe and engaging energy that kept everyone focused in.

Ruby Waters deserves a shoutout too - they came in energized and brought the crowd to life, doing a great job setting the tone for the remainder of the night. This Canadian alt-rock artist certainly grabs attention like a pro with her somewhat gritty and expressive presence.

Overall, it was one of those shows where everything was just right. Everything clicked right into place; an opener with great energy, a lively crowd, a band that knew how to connect, and moments that ranged from upbeat to stripped back,  with the entire crowd singing together. These are the kind of  moments that stick with you long after the music stops.
